Update: Speech Synthesis Workshop (SSW13) & Blizzard Challenge 2025
Preliminary program is live!
The preliminary program of the 13th Edition of the Speech Synthesis Workshop, whose theme is "Scaling down: sustainable synthesis for language diversity", is now available at https://blogs.helsinki.fi/ssw13-2025/full-program/.
As part of the program, we are delighted to announce the keynote speakers:
Alistair Conkie (Apple) - Scaling TTS to Many Languages
Anna-Mari Wallenberg (University of Helsinki) - Fundamental Rights, and the AI Act: Why Too Much is Not Enough
Hema A. Murthy (IIT Madras Chennai and Shiv Nadar University) - Building zero shot and code-mixed/switched for subcontinents with a rich language diversity
